As a church we have more or less camped at 1 Corinthians. Who knows? We might finish the book before the end of the year

So, we finally landed on the love chapter. Most Christians are familiar with 1 Corinthians 13 and I must say, there is hardly a wedding I have attended that verses from this chapter haven’t been read.

Believe me when I say, we read through the whole chapter but only ended up discussing the first three verses (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

The Corinthians were crazy about the gifts of the spirit, particularly speaking in tongues. This can be picked up easily by reading chapters 12, 13, and 14. Who knows? If they never had that problem, Paul might have never been compelled to address the matter.

Despite all their enthusiasm, they some how forgot an essential part of their walk with GodLove!

It doesn’t matter, if you speak in tongues of men or angels, it doesn’t matter if you have tremendous faith that moves mountain’s, it doesn’t matter if you give all your wealth to the poor

To crown it all up, it doesn’t matter if you give the ultimate, putting your life on the line to be sacrificed for some cause. If love is not the underlying factor, or the guiding principle that motivates you, it means zilch!

The interesting thing is, people might think you are cool and cute, but the Father sees differently.

Let’s put love back in the driving seat.
