But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. Luke 5:16 (NIV)
No one can dispute the fact that our master had a very busy life when he walked the earth. Verse 15 highlights his fame, crowds came to hear him teach and multitudes received healing.
Despite his hectic schedule, he still made a habit of withdrawing from the crow to spend time with The Lord in prayer. We also ought to do the same.
I encourage you to make it a point to set aside time to pray. Unplug from the noise and distractions of our modern world, and plug into the everlasting source of life.
