Lord where are you? Do you even care? Do you know where I live? Do you know how I live? Can’t you see I am hurting? Can’t you see I am at my wits end?

These questions might sound crazy, but sometimes we make these utterances when trouble hits. When life seems to be going down in a tailspin. We are under assault. At this point we are no longer in control. Events are overwhelming. No place to run, or hide.

This may be a sketchy assessment of reality, but in this state, what we are going through is what is in focus. To us He seems far away. Too far to intervene. Anxiety and fear become the order of the day.

The truth is, there are some trials and tests the Father delivers us from. But there are some we have to go through. The comforting thing is, either way His grace is always present to see us through whatever life hurls at us. His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9), when you are most vulnerable He is there to uphold you. It is time to cast your anxieties on Him because He really does care for you.

CAST ALL your ANXIETY on him because HE CARES FOR YOU. 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

At times it is easy to be just another face in the crowd. Just another statistic. But when it comes to our relationship with the Lord, our Heavenly Father, this is not the case. He knows you intimately and He cares. He knows you by name (John 10:3). There is no detail in your life that He is unaware of. Even the very hairs on your head are numbered (Luke 12:7).

Have a great week 🙂
