At Higher Life Ministries, our focus is to demonstrate the practicalities of the Christian life through our various ministries. We practise love, and aim to empower you with the knowledge of God and what you can achieve through Him.
The various ministries available within our church have been designed to meet this goal, and all our ministry and department leaders are well equipped with the appropriate training to offer the support and guidance that is needed to help you in your development as a Christian and a person in general.
Outreach
The Bible teaches us about caring for widows, the elderly and our brothers and sisters in general. It is the responsibility of all of God’s children to care for those who are in need. The welfare department’s focus is to fulfil this requirement by giving support to those who are in need, this includes visiting people in their homes to give them an encouraging word or by counselling or mentoring.
We take this aspect of the ministry very seriously, that we are indeed our brothers keeper.
Children’s Ministry
As a local church believe it is important we help families lay a good foundation of faith for their children early in life. Remember the scripture says,
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6.
Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalms 127:3a).
Care Ministries
As a local church, it is important that we look out for one another. We have a heart to reaching out to others in need.
There is never an end of various pressures in life, but as believers in Christ, we must support and stand with each other.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Singles
This ministry caters for those who are single from 18 years old and above.
In this ministry the focus is not on finding a life partner but on developing and getting to know yourself and establishing your life as an independent adult. We feel that it is important that people have that time in between childhood and adulthood to grow and develop your own personal relationship with God. So we spend time studying the word and sharing our experiences and understanding of scripture with one another.
We also engage in social activities and building friendships within the group and reaching out to our peers.

Real Women Real Lives
The purpose of the women’s ministry is to act as a support system for all women in the church and create a warm welcoming environment where they feel free to come and fellowship with other women.
In the women’s ministry we feel that it is paramount that women find their place in the body of Christ and function in their gifting. We are here to help all women express themselves and look at real issues that affect them. It is important that women know their worth and are empowered to fulfil the ministry God has called them into.
Real Men Real Lives
The men’s ministry brings men together, to share the word and build each other up spiritually. The aim is to teach men the principles of the word of God so that they can be equipped to face life challenges, and lead with the strength and wisdom that God has given through His word.
We seek to empower the men in our ministry to be the men God has called them to be. This may include the role of being a father, husband, son etc. In a society that tells teaches them otherwise, we believe that it is important that men understand that Church is not just for their wives and mothers. God has a purpose for them too.
Multimedia
The media department understands the power media has to communicate a message in a way that people understand.
Our responsibility is to record all services, seminars and conferences and provide them in audio format and make them available for members and visitors. We also support the churches marketing efforts for special events. We focus on delivering our work with excellence.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by God’s word (Romans 10:17).
Our job is to make the word available to you.
